Mitzi on Education

Public education is a foundation for our thriving economy,  freedom, and quality of life.  We must educate the whole child. Neither a child nor a school should ever be reduced to one test score.  Our schools need arts, PE, technology, school counselors, as well as rigorous courses in English, math, science and social studies.  

With a high quality education we have the freedom to move around and be who we want to be.   

To sustain a thriving economy we must support our children's education. 

Our community expects high quality schools to support our property values and local businesses now, and to prepare for today's children to solve the problems of the future.  Our future doctors, scientists, musicians and voters are in school today.  We want all our children to have a great education!  

To retain and recruit great employers like Intel, GoDaddy, Wells Fargo, Honeywell, and State Farm we must invest in our public education system.
